Flap Gate Redesign — Seven passages in 5.4 metres.
Flap Gate Redesign. Ridlr, 2019.

A self-directed study asking why a fare gate has to be as wide as it is. Pairing the flaps two-to-a-pedestal narrows each gate to 380 mm, so the same station wall yields more passages and a better commuter flow at peak.

Outcome. Study. Seven passages in a 5.4 metre width — more gates, more passages, better commuter flow.
